Become a IEMA-certified sustainability auditor. UCL and SOS-UK are offering a free, IEMA-certified, environmental auditing in-person training session on 23rd May from 10am-1pm, followed by an afternoon of conducting sustainability audits for UCL’s Green Impact staff engagement programme on the 23rd and 24th May 2023.
Training and auditing will be in-person. Drinks and lunch will be provided, as a thank you for taking part.
The training will happen in Bidborough House (38-50 Bidborough St, London WC1H 9BT), on the west wing of the ground floor.
We hope to have a maximum of three students per audit and for every student to audit two teams.
What is Green Impact?
Green Impact is an environmental accreditation programme, designed to encourage, support and celebrate departments in making environmental improvements. Interested UCL staff and students volunteered to participate in the programme and have completed sustainability actions over the last few months. All departments participating in Green Impact will need an audit to verify their level of achievement…and this is where you come in!
Why should you get involved?
- Receive IEMA approved environmental auditor training with certification;
- Improve your sustainability literacy;
- Enhance your CV with desirable sustainability awareness for all career sectors;
- Gain experience in auditing and sustainability;
- Engage with academics and professional staff at UCL who are driving sustainability;
- Meet like-minded people from across the world.
