Whether you're looking to find out more about UCL's sustainability work, are interested in getting involved, or are already a Green Champion, come along to this informal session at the Engineering Café to meet like-minded staff and UCL's existing Green Champions.

Green Champions are staff volunteers who work to make UCL a more sustainable institution, largely though the Green Impact programme: a UCL-wide environmental competition and accreditation scheme allowing departments and divisions to improve their environmental impact. The Champions have catalysed new initiatives that are now being adopted across UCL, from paperless meetings, to more sustainable travel policies and stair climbing competitions. Come along to meet the award-winning people behind projects like the Powered by Plants campaign, which has embedded vegetarian catering across UCL, or the Ear Institute's rooftop garden, 'It's good up EAR'!

This event is part of 28 Days of Sustainability: 4 weeks filled with sustainability-themes events, workshops and activities from all across the university.
