‘Climate Change Perspectives’: a new resource for student induction and teaching

UCL’s Grand Challenge of Climate Crisis has launched Climate Change Perspectives — a new series of short films showcasing the depth and diversity of climate-related research across the university.

Each video features a UCL academic offering evidence-based insights into a crucial dimension of climate change — from mitigation and biodiversity to climate justice and communication. Designed as a flexible learning resource, the series can be used for student induction, embedded in teaching, or signposted for independent study.

The films feature leading experts including Prof Paul Ekins (UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources), Prof Seirian Sumner, Prof Mark Pelling (UCL Risk & Disaster Reduction), Dr Alison Kitson (UCL Institute of Education), Dr Kris De Meyer (UCL Climate Action Unit), and Prof Zhifu Mi (The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction).
