I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. During my Masters I spent six months at the University of Twente on an Erasmus exchange, as well as six months at UCL as a visiting student. My research focuses on the automatic recognition of surgical gestures during robotic surgery, a critical step in building advanced algorithms for enhanced computer-assisted interventions.
