The UCL centre for CardioVascular Interventional Research (CAVIAR) is a collaboration of experts and centres involved in clinical trials of products and devices in surgery.
CAVIAR has a strong track record with over 20 research grants working with government, industry and charities to define appropriate interventions for patients in surgery. This research is being developed specifically to identify risk that can be optimised prior to surgery and where interventions will afford the most benefit to patient welfare.
