Centre for Perioperative Medicine (CPOM)

The Centre for Perioperative Medicine (CPOM) is a multidisciplinary research and education collaborative, committed to the improvement in care, outcomes and the experience of patients contemplating, undergoing and recovering from surgery.

We sit on the UCL Bloomsbury Campus and hold successful grant funding for programs in experimental and translational medicine, education, innovation and implementation spanning the entire translational pathway.

Help Our Work

Are you someone who would like to help our work? Perhaps you've had surgery and have had a good experience or seen something that can be improved? Our Centre exists to raise the quality of care patients get when they are having, or are thinking about having, surgery.

With your support we can continue to invest in projects that enhance both our patients’ lives and experiences, while also advancing our services through funding equipment, research and education.

If you would like to donate, however small, using the official UCL Hospitals charity please do click on this link.  If you specify in the box at the bottom '1381' your donation goes directly to support our work. If you'd like to discuss anything about donating to or supporting our work, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
