Veeru getting award

Veeru Kasivisvanathan has been awarded the John Anderson Award from the British Association of Urological Surgeons for outstanding and inspirational contribution to Urology, which is one of the most prestigious awards made by the association.  Veeru says, 'This was awarded for a number of reasons. First for my prostate cancer research, the highlight of which was the PRECISION trial, which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Second, for my work in founding of a British-based international Urology Research Collaborative called BURST, which has over 1000 collaborators worldwide and has delivered clinical studies using novel collaborative methods. Third, for my work in development of CPD courses contributing to British and European Urologists' educational needs, specifically recognising the MRI Prostate Cancer CPD Course developed and delivered through our Divisional CPD offering'
