Reselecting modules
Find out the status of your module selections and make changes if any of your choices were unsuccessful.
Log in to Portico and select My Studies in the navigation bar.
When you submit your module choices, each one requires approval from your department and sometimes the module teaching department. Once approved, you will see ‘Approved Fully’ in the Status column (Figure 1).
If any of your selections are awaiting review, you will see ‘Pending Teaching Review’ or ‘Pending Parent Review’ in the Status Column (Figure 2). Please contact the relevant department for an update on when your selections may be reviewed.
If any of the modules you selected are unavailable, they will appear under ‘Declined’. If you hover over the information icon, you will see a reason for this (Figure 3). You will need to select an alternative module via the adjacent Select Alternative Module button.
Select the drop-down arrow to choose from a list of alternative modules (Figure 4), then next.
You will receive a confirmation of this new selection (Figure 5). Select Done.
You can now view any new choices while they await approval (Figure 6).
