How to apply
Rooms are available for booking from Saturday, 20 June 2026 to Saturday, 12 September 2026.
You need to be a current, full time UCL student, or to have accepted an offer to study for a full-time programme starting in September 2026.
When applications open, you will be able to apply through the UCL Accommodation Portal, choose 2026 Summer Students as your term.
Additional Information
- Where possible, we do try to accommodate residents in the same rooms they had during term time. However, due to various summer works projects, we may have to limit student access to some buildings and we will ask you to change room or residence.
- There is no availability for couples or family accommodation over the summer period.
- There is no twin room availability over the summer period.
- We are unable to offer University accommodation to part-time students. You can find a range of housing options and support on the University of London’s Housing Advice website and the Alternative Accommodation webpage.
- If you are attending the UCL Summer School, you have to apply for accommodation on the Summer School’s webpage.
Summer residences for public booking
During the summer, UCL Accommodation is available to the public and can be booked as a hotel from Monday, 22 June to Monday, 7 September 2026.
