Winter Awe Walk

'Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished' - Lao Tzu

'Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better' - Albert Einstein

'Nature never did betray the heart that loved her' - William Wordsworth

From ancient philosophers to scientists and poets alike, walking in nature has long been a wonderful technique for improving your physical and mental wellbeing. English poet William Wordsworth, along with many more Romantics, dedicated his poetry to the Sublime: the incredible emotions of awe and wonder we feel when faced with the greatness of the natural world.

We invite you to meet our Student Ambassadors at the Portico Steps in the Front Quad (UCL Bloomsbury). Notice new elements of your surroundings and enjoy the beauty of wintry London, connecting with your peers along the way. Spending time away from your studies will aid self-reflection and improve your mood, grounding you in the present moment.

Places are limited, so make sure you book your spot!
