Students' Union UCL - All Jokes Aside Campaign
All Jokes Aside is a campaign organised by Students' Union UCL to support men's mental health.
It's easy to avoid talking about how you're really feeling and to bring up difficulties you may be experiencing with your mental health. Men can find it difficult to discuss if they are feeling low and may feel that they don't receive compassionate support. TeamUCL's aim is to rewrite this narrative.
'All Jokes Aside' aims to support male-identifying students at UCL to meaningfully engage in activities to support their mental health and wellbeing.
TeamUCL recognise that gender is experienced and expressed in a variety of ways, and that 'male-identifying' may not represent the identities of every student that All Jokes Aside is for. Trans and non-binary students who identify with maleness are encouraged to take part in this campaign.
There are free activity sessions randing from weekly sport to fitness and activities. TeamUCL's activity programme supports male identifying students to build activity into their routine and feel better from it.
