This page covers the various ways in which you can build a sense of community at UCL to look after your wellbeing.
Building community at UCL
Building a sense of community and a support network is vital for our wellbeing. In a city as fast paced and busy as London, it can feel challenging to find a community. But at UCL, you're not just joining a community of fellow students, you’re in London, where there truly is something on offer for everyone.
On this page, we have gathered a few ways in which you can build community and enrich your UCL experience. Read on to find out how you can meet new people, attend exciting events, and get involved with a range of opportunities.
Students' Union UCL
Since 1893 the Students' Union UCL has been campaigning for a better UCL, providing great services and opportunities to 37,000 members.
Clubs and Societies
The SU has 250 clubs and student run societies with thousands of students joining up every year. By joining a society or attending an event, you can meet a range of new people, try a new hobby or activity, and make new memories. Obtaining a committee position can also provide you with a range of valuable experience in the career market.
