Tuition Fee Deposits – now paid through Flywire

UCL previously announced a partnership with payment provider Flywire, enabling all our students to safely and securely pay their tuition fees. We are now also pleased to highlight the use of Flywire to pay tuition fee deposits.

When was Flywire introduced?  

UCL launched Flywire in March 2023 for tuition fee payments, we have now extended the use of this, for Postgraduate related tuition fee deposits. We will continue to incrementally release the use of this payment service with the remaining payments of application and residence fees taking effect via Flywire in the new academic year (2023/2024).  

How do I pay my tuition fee deposit?  

Payments through Flywire’s ‘Global Payment Network’ can be made via the applicant portal in MyPortico: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/students/fees/pay-your-fees/how-to-pay  

What are the benefits of using Flywire? 

  • Payers can pay from their home country and in their home currency for most countries. Flywire is secure, safe, and fully trusted by UCL. 

  • Payers can use a wide range of payment methods like bank transfer, debit or credit card, open banking and e-wallet (Alipay, PayPal etc). 

  • Payers can track their payments anytime via the web, Flywire mobile app, or by contacting Flywire directly. 

  • Flywire offer multilingual, customer support, available 24/7 by either phone, live chat or email.
