The Student Enquiries Centre resumes walk-in service

4 April 2022

Student on laptop

From the 4th of April, we are happy to announce that the Student Enquiries team will be re-opening the doors to allow students to come through and speak to us about any concerns or questions you may have regarding your student record and provide guidance and signpost you on a range of areas such as Visa, Fees, Study Abroad, Student Support Wellbeing or any matters regarding your studies at UCL.

When can I visit the Student Enquiries Centre?

The walk-in service hours for the Student Enquiries team will be Monday - Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 10am to 4pm and 11am to 4pm on Thursdays.

Will I need to bring in proof of ID when seeing a staff member?

There will be an expectation to have your student card available for the staff member who be dealing with your query. This would enable a smooth and efficient service and help us to locate your student record.

Will the appointment service on askUCL still continue?

Yes, we will continue this service, students who need to have their ID verified as part of their DBS application should continue to book an appointment. If you would prefer to book an appointment to come and see us to obtain a hard copy of your Student Status letter, completion of a form(s) for the benefit purposes/exemptions and 16-25 Mature Railcard applications. The same process will apply where you would be required to log an enquiry on Ask UCL via the ‘Student Enquiries Appointment Request form' and fill in all the necessary information on the form.
