Pre-departure Briefings Across East and Southeast Asia 2021

Information sessions being run by the British Council for international students coming to the UK to study from east and southeast Asian countries.
Congratulations on your offer to study at UCL! We know you must be excited and maybe a little nervous all at the same time, with so many questions running through your head! Not to worry, this is why the British Council holds various pre-departure briefings, which are tailored to your home country. These sessions will provide you with vital information regarding everything from accepting your offer, visa applications, flights, banking, finding accommodation, health and wellbeing, and other aspects of living in the UK. These sessions are aimed at making your departure to the UK as smooth as possible.
These pre-departure sessions will be either conducted online or in-person. They will give you a chance to hear from British Council experts, UK immigration officials, former students from your country, employers, and will give you a chance to socialise with other fellow students, which is a great chance to make new friends before even touching down in the UK. There is so much to consider before arriving in the UK, so we highly encourage you to register for these sessions to make sure you have all the information you need and can feel confident about the wonderful experience you are about to embark on.

Hong Kong: Online
