International Festival 2020

12 February 2020

Time to celebrate all things international!

International food stalls

The UCL International Festival is jointly organised by Students’ Union UCL and the International Student Support team and aims to promote UCL’s multicultural identity and its global activities, encourage knowledge and ‘cross cultural exchange’, and make international students feel part of UCL’s community.

This year the UCL’s International Festival will take place on Thursday 27 February and Friday 28 February 2020.

Activities and events

Throughout the International Festival there will be a wide range of activities and events aimed at all students. In the mornings there will be Welcome Breakfasts for you to meet your fellow international students over a coffee and something to eat.

All over campus, there will be a number of societies celebrating national days from their respective countries, dance performances from the K-Pop society, bake sales and discussions held by UCL’s International Welfare Officer on your experiences as an international student at UCL.

On the Thursday only, the Opportunities and Support fair will take place in the Student Centre showcasing volunteer work, study abroad options, homestays in the UK and support services UCL offers you.

Should you wish to pick up some popcorn and check out some of the best international movies on offer then you’re in luck as a variety of world cinema movies will be shown over the two days in a variety of locations at UCL.

At any point should you get hungry or thirsty, we’ve got you covered. On Thursday 27, there will be a wide range of international food and drink stalls in the Main Quad, so whichever continent your taste buds are drawn to, you won’t be disappointed.

You can find all the events and activities on the Students' Union UCL International Festival 2020 page.
