All Students
Campus tours
Campus tours will be running throughout welcome week on both our Bloomsbury and East campuses. They are designed to show you around different locations on campus including places to study, eat, where your lectures may be. These will be walk-up tours, no need to book!
For students starting in January, we'll be running campus tours on the Bloomsbury Campus. If you're starting outside of the main welcome periods, why not go on a self guided tour?
Support Services Fair
The Support Services Fair allows you to connect with UCL experts who can help with skill development, starting a business, volunteering, job hunting, health support, and more.
There's also the chance to win a £50 Love2Shop voucher to buy your first term essentials.
The fair will run from 11:30am-3pm on Friday 10 and Monday 13 January, Roberts Building Foyer.
International Students
Our international student events are tailored to help new students settle into life in the UK. These sessions provide valuable insights on topics such as balancing academics and personal life and ensuring safety in London.
We have a mixture of pre-arrival and post-arrival events. Check the international student orientation pages for more information.
Affiliate/Exchange Students
For affiliate and exchange students, we run Affiliate Student Mixers and Affiliate Student Q&A Talks. Post-arrival events go on sale 2 December.

Doctoral School
Doctoral school online induction event
- This introduces attendees to resources and support for postgraduate researchers.
- It will run on 2pm–3pm, Wednesday 5 February.
- Tickets go on sale 2 December 2024.

Doctoral researcher panel and networking event
- This welcome event is a great opportunity to meet other postgraduate researchers, to hear from Doctoral School staff and to ask our current postgraduate researchers questions.
- 4:30pm–7:00pm, Wednesday, 19 February 2025.

A Students' Guide to UCL is a talk designed and presented by current students, for new starters. This talk is unlike any other induction event and is your chance to learn the tips and tricks curated by 100s of students. These talks only run in September.
