What's open on campus

A round-up of the services and facilities open to students on campus.

In the context of the UK Government’s roadmap to ease lockdown restrictions, university buildings are open and many facilities are available for students who need to be on campus. This includes study spaces, library services and limited catering outlets.

We’re working hard to keep everyone on campus as safe as possible. We’ve reduced the number of people on site to 25% of capacity, we’re regularly cleaning our buildings with antiviral disinfectant, and hand sanitiser is available at stations across campus.

Find out more about UCL's response to the Government's plans to ease lockdown.

Visit our Keeping Safe on Campus pages.

Access to buildings

You will need to use your UCL ID card to access buildings and follow the zoning system and one-way routes on campus.

Libraries and study spaces

Most of our libraries are open for UCL students and staff and NHS members. You can also book study spaces on campus. Find out what’s open and book a space before you visit on the Library Services webpages.

UCL Student Support and Wellbeing services remain available to students online. We are hoping to return to face-to-face services as soon as possible.
