Affiliate Student online drop-in
Starting Tuesday 4 November, the Affiliate Student Experience team will be running an online drop-in for any queries you may have. The drop-ins are for Affiliate students currently enrolled at UCL, rather than prospective or future Affiliate students. Prospective and future Affiliates should contact us via email: affiliate-admissions@ucl.ac.uk.
When:
Tuesdays during term-time from 12pm to 1pm UK time. Please note, the last drop-in of Term 1 will take place on Tuesday 16 December.
How to attend:
Click on the Microsoft Teams link below to join us online during the drop-in. We will speak with students one at a time and if we are speaking to another student when you join, you will automatically be placed in a waiting room until it is your turn. When we’re ready, we’ll let you into the main drop-in. The waiting room is not communal, so you won’t be waiting with other students.

What we can help with:
We can support you with any non-academic queries and may in some cases need to signpost or refer you onto other services. Topics you may want to speak to us about may include but aren't limited to:
- Settling into life in London/the UK and navigating culture shock;
- Finding community and making friends;
- Homesickness and loneliness;
- How to make the most of your time studying abroad at UCL;
- Wellbeing support;
- Queries relating to your Study Abroad/Exchange requirements;
- Signposting to specialist UCL support services.
If you can’t attend during the drop-in but would like to speak to us another time, please contact us via askUCL to arrange a meeting with us. When you contact askUCL, please highlight that you are an Affiliate student.
