The Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Team provides advice and guidance on matters relating to student immigration.
Student Immigration Compliance Team
The Student Immigration Compliance Team within UCL's Student Immigration Advice and Compliance service is responsible for ensuring the university meets its obligations as a licensed sponsor under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
This includes providing guidance and advice on meeting UKVI student attendance monitoring requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date immigration records, and reporting significant changes in a student’s circumstance - such as non-enrolment, withdrawal, interruption of studies, or lack of attendance to the UKVI. The team also supports staff across UCL in understanding and fulfilling their compliance responsibilities to help protect the university's sponsor licence.

Student Immigration Advice Team
The Student Immigration Advice Team within UCL's Student Immigration Advice and Compliance service provides specialist guidance to international students on a wide range of UK immigration matters.
This includes support with Student visa applications, visa extensions and errors. The team offers one-to-one advice and also runs a regular online drop-in service and as well as talks on post-study work options. They also provide immigration advice on non-Student route visas. They cannot advise on services relating to asylum, nationality and 'Domestic Violence' or areas outside the specialisms of the advisers, though they will help to find a suitably qualified adviser for these queries.
