Have you tried the 'Pomodoro Technique' before? Let's see what the hype is all about!
The ‘Pomodoro Technique’ is where you work/revise in intervals, typically 25 minutes long, separated by short breaks.
Come and join other students in this group study session, where we will use a Pomodoro Timer together to work on our individual work and get to enjoy our short breaks together!
Session structure
- Four 25-minute intervals of work (no phones, limited talking - time to focus on individual work).
- Three 5 minute short breaks between intervals.
- 55 minutes at the end of the sessions for playing games such as Uno or Scrabble, or doing some mindful colouring.
Please note this is a drop-in session, so feel free to join us at anytime and stay as long as you wish!
Spaces are limited across these workshops, so please book your spot in advance. Free refreshments will be provided to attendees.
Please feel free to bring friends, or come on your own! Our events are open to everyone and are a great opportunity to meet new people in a relaxed, friendly and inclusive setting. Members of the Student Support and Wellbeing Services team will be there to support you in making these connections with others too. We look forward to meeting you!
This session is part of UCL's Exam Season Toolkit Campaign, organised by UCL Student Support and Wellbeing Services.
