The Student Homelessness conference on Wednesday 11th June 2025 (11.06.2025) will explore UCL’s approach to Student Homelessness and the practical measures which the UCL Specialist Advice and Casework Services (SACS) team have used to resolve cases and support students. The SACS team will also be presenting their own data on the causes of Student Homelessness at UCL.
We are also honoured to be joined by LSE researchers Ellie Benton and Joe Usher who will be presenting their research on Student Homelessness.
The event will feature:
- Welcome and introduction from UCL Student Support and Wellbeing Services Senior Leadership.
- Presentations on Student Homelessness data from the UCL SACS team.
- Case studies and examples of SACS intervention and support in Student Homelessness cases.
- Q&A with the UCL SACS team alongside Ellie and Joe from LSE.
Who can attend? This event is open to all students and staff at UCL. External attendees are also welcome to join us.
Questions about the event? Please feel free to email Thomas Allen, Student Support and Wellbeing Casework Manager, on thomas.allen@ucl.ac.uk.
