Making the most of your library

This session is for any student at any stage in their studies who would like to learn more about using the library effectively, reducing the stress associated with studying and research.

In this workshop, we will introduce our useful techniques for making the most of UCL's library spaces and resources. Topics we will cover include:

  • Finding your favourite place to study.
  • Tips and tricks for getting the most out of Explore, UCL's library catalogue.
  • Making your reading lists work for you.
  • Finding the best resources for your subject.
  • Selecting software for managing and citing your references.
  • Tools for finding full text articles and e-books.
  • Keeping up to date with the literature.
  • Developing your library research skills.
  • Getting further help and support when you need it.

Please feel free to bring your own lunch for this event.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your spot in advance!
