Get Creative for Black History Month
Come to this Arts session to get creative in your own way to mark and celebrate Black History Month, whether that is through painting, drawing, writing poetry or something else. This drop-in session will be relaxed and a great way to chat and make friends. Come at any time and stay as long as you like within the two hour slot. This year's Black History Month theme is "Reclaiming Narratives" which will shape what we create.
There will be plenty of opportunity to chat about your work to others in the session. Some paints, pencils and other arts materials will be provided, however these will be first-come-first-serve. There will also be some refreshments provided!
The work made in this session will be displayed in the North Cloisters on 22 October for the rest of the UCL community to look at and reflect on. Come and see!
This session is part of UCL's Your Guide to Thrive.
Find out what else is happening during the Your Guide to Thrive campaign from Monday 14th - Friday 25th October 2024.
