New appointment: Lecturer

Bultitude, Karen

STS announces the appointment of Dr Karen Bultitude as Lecturer in Science Communication.

Karen has special expertise in the evaluation of science communication activities, focusing on their effectiveness. She has an international profile and consults both with government and charity organisations. Karen is in high demand as a workshop leader, too. Karen has a background in physics (esp. optics and robotics) and has worked on the front lines as a science communicator, too.

Karen begins at UCL in October 2011.

In Term 2 of the 2011-12 session, Karen will teach the undergraduate year 3 module:

  • HPSC3033 Science Communication in Digital Environments
