Results Day 2017
Results Day 2017 for A-level examinations is approaching fast. We are looking forward to welcoming the class of 2020! Though an exciting time, it also can be confusing to work out what to do next.
To make things simpler, UCL has answered some frequently questions about A Level Results Day.
You can also find information about Results Day on the UCAS website.

If your question is not answered on the above web pages, or is specific to Science and Technology Studies, please do not hesitate to get in touch with:
- STS Reception Desk on +44 (0)207 679 1328
We will help.
If you've made the grades and want to come to STS for your degree, simply follow the instructions provided by UCAS. Contact us if you have any questions.
If your results narrowly missed your offer, for example receiving ABB with an offer of AAB, then contact us as soon as possible. These are known as "near misses," and UCL has some discretion on accepting near misses based on our overall admissions results. STS might be able to work out a solution whereby you can enter your selected degree. But let us know as soon as possible, and we will advise you.
We cannot accept a more distant miss, such as an offer of AAB and results of ABC.
STS may have a limited number of places available on some of our undergraduate programmes through UCAS Adjustment. These are for well-qualified applicants who have done better than expected, meeting and exceeding conditions of their firm choice elsewhere. Programmes with places available through Adjustment will be listed on the Results Day 2017 website at 6pm on Wednesday 16th August.
You can find more information about Adjustment on the UCAS website.
UCL does not participate in UCAS Clearing, so we do not expect to have any places available through this route.
