UCL STS announces senior academic promotions for 2019-20

UCL STS is delighted to announce the promotions of four academic staff within the Department, with effect from 01 October 2020.

The list of successful senior academic, research and teaching promotions at UCL will be published shortly and will be available to view on the UCL HR website.

UCL STS Co-Head of Department Dr Emma Tobin has been promoted to Professor in Philosophy of Science.

Dr Phyllis Illari has been promoted to Professor in Philosophy Science.

Dr Melanie Smallman has been promoted to Associate Professor.

Dr Tiago Mata has been promoted to Associate Professor.

The latest promotions highlight the Department’s continuing dedication to Academic excellence in teaching and research, and its innovative approach to Science and Technology Studies education.
