Department Promotions - New Professor!

The UCL senior promotions process has announced its latest round of results, and we're delighted to report we have five promotions:

The new promotions in the Department of Science and Technology Studies are:

STS Staff Promotions (l-r) Dr Sarah Edwards, Dr Emily Dawson, Dr Brendan Clarke, Dr Simon Lock, and Dr Carina Fearnley

Dr Sarah Edwards promoted to Professor - the department's first female professor

Dr Emily Dawson promoted to Associate Professor

Dr Brendan Clarke promoted to Associate Professor

Dr Simon Lock promoted to Associate Professor

Dr Carina Fearnley promoted to Associate Professor

As of October, STS academic staff will include:

•   6x Professors
•   5x Associate Professors/Senior Lecturers/Readers
•   5x Lecturers
•   2x Teaching Fellows
•   2x Research Fellows

We're glad to see the hard work and committment of our staff has been rewarded. All of the above staff make considerable contributions to the department, and we're happy to have them at our side.
