Student Number Planning

The UCL Planning Team is responsible for coordinating UCL's annual student number planning process to set intake targets for the next academic year and continuing student projections to achieve a high level picture of our student population in terms of size and profile. Faculties work with colleagues across Planning, Access and Admissions, Student Recruitment Marketing and the Office of the Vice Provost (Education and Student Affairs) to develop these projections, built on the principles of strategic alignment and an excellent student experience, which are then considered at an institution level by Senior Management. Agreed plans are used to inform wider Faculty planning, offer making to prospective students and operational planning by Professional Services.
