Dr Trupti Patel
Research Intern, Grand Challenges Thermal Comfort and Contextual Thermography
Dr Trupti Patel currently works in STEaPP as a Research Intern on a UCL Grand Challenges project called Thermal Comfort and Contextual Thermography. Trupti's research focuses on new methods of research to help the universal standards for indoor comfort better reflect the socio-technical nature of the topic.
Trupti was recently awarded her PhD in Nanotechnology which was conducted at UCL's London Centre for Nanotechnology and the National Physical Laboratory. Previous to this, she studied an MSc in Nanotechnology and a BSc in Physics at UCL.
Trupti's research interests center around using physical measurement techniques to import psychological theories within thermal comfort standards as well as comfort in a more general sense.
