Due to concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Business of Cities & The DNA of Cities inaugural lecture with Professor Greg Clark on Monday 20th April.
The safety and wellbeing of our speakers, staff and attendees is our top priority and we hope you will understand us taking this precautionary measure.
We will be in touch with you once a new date for the lecture has been selected.

We know that about 25% of National Governments have urban policies, but in the past decade more than 100 businesses have started to adopt strategies for engaging with cities. Why do they that? What is City Strategy for a business? Where is the relationship between business and cities going forwards and what does it mean for national urban policies? At the same time the idea of cities having a unique DNA is catching on. If a city can discover and align with its DNA I can develop identity, soft power, and build a sense of belonging. So what is the DNA of a city? Can it evolve or is it fixed? What is the best means to find it and use it?
