Deputy Head of Policy Impact Unit 0.6 FTE

The Policy Impact Unit (PIU) is a team of professional intermediaries who aim to facilitate and deliver high quality policy engagement that increases UCL Engineering’s impact on policy. We provide the knowledge, skills and capacity to deliver high quality policy engagement activities, to facilitate and deliver high quality policy engagement that increases UCL Engineering’s policy impact.  

We are seeking applicants with significant experience of working in UK policy settings with a good understanding of policymaking in the UK and domain expertise in the health and healthcare technology policy sector. Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent management, network building and communication skills. They should be able to translate technical research findings for policy audiences and to develop strategic programmes of policy engagement to deliver impact.
