Team led by Dr Gianluca Baio awarded research grant from the MRC

A research team led by Dr Gianluca Baio and comprising researchers from the London School of Economics, UCL Population and Primary Care and the MRC Biostatistics Unit has been awarded a research grant from the Medical Research Council. The project entitled "The regression discontinuity design: a novel approach to evaluating the effects of drugs and treatments in primary care" will commence in 2013, with a proposed duration of 30 months. The grant will provide for a new post-doctoral research associate to be employed within the department.
