Mariya Mamajiwala awarded best talk prize at the 2021 RSC conference in Probability and Statistics

The Research Students’ Conference (RSC) in Probability and Statistics is an annual conference for post-graduate research students in all areas of probability and statistics over the UK. It was hosted by Lancaster over 27-29 July 2021 online.
Mariya Mamajiwala, PhD student in the Department, gave a talk on "Non-convex optimization with Langevin dynamics on Riemannian manifolds". It was selected for a prize of by the RSS local group and the RSC Committee.
