Ioanna Manolopoulou joins executive board of new HDRUK-Alan Turing Institute PhD programme.

6 April 2020

Ioanna Manolopoulou appointed UCL co-lead for cross-institutional PhD Programme in Health Data Science by Health Data Research UK (HDRUK) and the Alan Turing Institute, funded by Wellcome Trust. The programme includes UCL, Manchester, Birmingham, Queen’s University Belfast, Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh. The PhD programme's underlying philosophy is that health data science requires a combination of expertise spanning three fundamental areas: statistical, computational and health sciences. It’s a 4 year programme where year 1 is purely training, including residential week-long ‘immersions’ in each of the sites and data-sprints.
