Statistical Science contributes to Law Society commission on Algorithms in the Justice System

Professor Sofia Olhede is one of three commissioners that launched a UK Law Society policy commission on Algorithms  in the Justice System on 14th of June 2018.

The commission will taking evidence from a range of different experts on whether algorithms and their use within the justice system should be regulated, and if so, how such regulation could be formed.
