Support for students

The Departmental Student hardship fund offers a small stipend from £100 - £250 to support Undergraduate and Postgraduate Statistical Science students who began their academic year having made realistic and adequate financial provision, but who have encountered unexpected circumstances that put them into financial difficulty. Students can apply multiple times but cannot exceed £500 in any given year.  Applying for the Departmental Hardship fund does not preclude application for other UCL Funds  

In academic year 2023-24 the Department of Statistical Science Student Hardship Fund Committee awarded a total of £7,588 to students in financial difficulty.
