Biographical Details
Before joining UCL as a Lecturer at the beginning of 2025, Anna was a Chapman Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London. Between 2021 and 2023, she was a postdoctoral research associate at INRIA working within the ERC Project Geometry and Statistics led by Dr. Xavier Pennec. Anna completed her PhD in 2021 at Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. Aasa Feragen (DTU) and Prof. Simone Vantini (MOX – Politecnico di Milano).
Research Interests
Anna’s research interest is the development of statistical methods for the analysis of sets of graphs. She works at the intersection between geometry and statistics, developing methods in non-Euclidean spaces – mostly quotient spaces and length metric spaces. Her main area of applications are medical imaging and public transport systems.
