Report a lost ID card (I have found someone’s card)
If you find an ID card, please report it to Security Systems who will deactivate it and contact the owner.
Before you start
Ensure you have the physical card on hand.
- 1. Contact Security to report the card
If you find an ID card, please report it to Security Systems who will deactivate it and contact the owner.

You can email securitysystems@ucl.ac.uk, or call 020 7679 3373 (UCL ext 33373).
- 2. Send the card to the Security Systems
You will be asked to send the card to the Security Systems office via internal mail.

If you are reusing an internal envelope, make sure you delete all previous addresses on it. Delivery and collection points and times for internal mail differ for each department.
