Facilitation: how to get the most out of your PPI activities
Course Description:

This session is for anyone looking to run workshops of focus groups. Learn how to get the most out of your meetings.

Attendees need to complete a pre-course survey within the stipulated time frame. The post-course survey is completed on the day of the workshop – the tutor will give instructions when this is to take place.


This session will cover:

How to manage a patient and public involvement meeting.

How to support different kinds of individuals in a meeting.

Tactics to get the audience engaged.

How to ensure as much information as possible is recorded in a session.

Measures that can be used to make meeting more accessible


By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Understand the role of a facilitator in PPI settings

Understand the challenges that might arise in a PPI activity

Have some tools to facilitate a PPI activity
