The Brilliant Club: Planning Engaging and Interactive Sessions
Course Description:

This session explores how to plan teaching effectively by using backwards planning to define overall teaching outcomes and using this to inform the content you teach and activities you plan for learners. We’ll explore examples of how you can make learning accessible and interactive through activities, and how these examples can be adapted for online and in-person teaching. When teaching and setting up activities, it is important that your learners understand what is expected of them in any task you’ve asked them to do, so we’ll also explore the principles of effective instruction. And finally, we’ll look at questioning as a way of encouraging participation and engagement in your teaching.
