Disseminating your research in a time affected by COVID-19
Course Description:
One of the many challenges that COVID-19 poses to researchers is how best to disseminate our research when many conferences and events are being cancelled. This course will help you to explore ten options for disseminating your research instead of presenting at a conference. The course will inform you as to how many academic associations, journals, and conferences are responding to the current crises and then guide you through how to make the best dissemination decision for your current situation. There will be an opportunity for you to discuss your particular situation and to make a workable plan for how to disseminate your work over the next few months. It is likely that none of the options open to you are ideal, however some of them may still offer you considerable value.

This session will cover:
  • How academic organisations are (or are not) currently doing academic dissemination
  • 10 options for disseminating your research that are not presenting at a conference
