Mixed Mental Arts: Webinar Series
Course Description:

Mixed Mental Arts is a seven-week interactive webinar programme delivered by award-winning Tough Cookie. The programme will include 60-minute webinars each week, live opening and closing sessions blended with self-paced content between sessions to facilitate learning,

You will be introduced to a toolkit of practical techniques that address how to calm an anxious mind, manage the body's stress response, self-regulate in high-pressure situations, relax the body and more.

This programme is ideal for anyone working under pressure or wanting to adopt proven coping strategies into their life.

Before enrolling on this programme, please ensure that you can commit to the webinar dates below and the self-paced learning content of one hour per week.

The course is limited to 40 spaces.

  • Mixed Mental Arts: Module 3 - Neutralising unhelpful thought patterns - Forum: Wednesday 31st May, 11:00-12:00
  • Mixed Mental Arts: Module 4 - Navigating overwhelming experiences - Forum: Wednesday 7th June, 11:00-12:00
  • Mixed Mental Arts: Module 5 - Relearning relaxation - Forum: Wednesday 14th June, 11:00-12:00
  • Mixed Mental Arts: Module 6 - Reclaiming emotional autonomy - Forum: Wednesday 21st June, 11:00-12:00
  • Mixed Mental Arts: Going Forth: Wednesday 28th June, 11:00-12:00

Objectives:

Aims of the course:

  • Improve awareness and understanding of mental resilience.
  • Introduce the evidence base and theory of mental resilience.
  • Provide staff with a toolkit of 12 practical techniques.
  • Support staff to build and grow an on-going personal resilience practice.
  • Improve the wellbeing and resilience of staff that participate in the programme.
Intended Audience:
Staff in pivotal change management roles or any staff working under pressure and wanting to adopt best-practice coping strategies.
