DSD: In a Nutshell: Excel functions we should all know (ISINEXCELF) 
Course Description:

This is a one hour demonstration that introduces some of the Excel functions (both basic and advanced) that we could all benefit from knowing.

Prerequisites:

A basic understanding of navigating spreadsheets and editing cell contents.

IMPORTANT:

Please ensure you are using Desktop@UCL or the UCL VPN when booking because you need to be on the UCL network to use the system.

Once you have enrolled, you will need to click on the play button under 'My current enrolments' in My Learning to join at the time of the live session. You will also receive an email from ISD containing the direct joining link a day before the session. Please check your junk folder as these emails are occasionally tagged as spam.

We would encourage those who are new to Blackboard Collaborate to join within the first 15 minutes of the advertised start time in order to test out their connection/audio. The actual session will start on the hour.

  • xlookup
  • if
  • sumif
  • averageif
  • concatenate
  • left/right
  • choose
  • convert
  • remove duplicates
We will be using the most recent versions of Excel (O365, 2019).
