Course Description: Learn important concepts and commands to manage version control using Git.
This session includes navigating history, retrieving old versions, integrating with GitHub, collaboration, merging conflicts, etc. which are essential for managing version control and collaborating with others.
While version control is used extensively in computer programming, this session uses text documents. If dealing with version changes is important for you, perhaps project planning, documentation, food recipes, or CVs, this session might be suitable for you.

This is a follow-up to DSD: In a Nutshell: Git version control. Please see pre-requisites below.
This is a three-hour workshop session delivered remotely. Adequate rest time is provided.
PREREQUISITES:
DSD: In a Nutshell: Git version control is recommended.
This "Dive into" session begins with setting up a repository and running commit: this will be done at pace because it is covered in the "In a Nutshell". Those who attended "In a Nutshell" will continue from where they were at the end of that session.
