DA: Marking and feedback on AssessmentUCL (Assessor role)
Course Description:

A hands on session which explains the marking and feedback options available for marking exams and other assessments on AssessmentUCL including annotations, rubrics, marking by question or section, and possible workflows for first and second marking.

On AssessmentUCL, this is called the Assessor role.

IMPORTANT:

Please ensure you are using Desktop@UCL or the UCL VPN when booking because you need to be on the UCL network to use the system.

Once you have enrolled, you will need to click on the play button under 'My current enrolments' in My Learning to join at the time of the live session. You will also receive an email containing the direct Microsoft Teams joining link at least a day before the session.


Objectives:
  • Choose to mark online or offline;
  • Use annotations, complete an existing rubric, add a grade, and add overall comments on a submission;
  • Share feedback and marks with students and/or co-markers;
  • Check the plagiarism prevention tool (Turnitin) report;
  • Review the marks of another marker;
  • Understand how first, second and a reconciled mark can be recorded;
  • Understand how different question or section marks can be automatically totalled or averaged to reach a final mark; and
  • Choose whether this is appropriate for your assessment.
