DA: Managing assessment on AssessmentUCL (Manager role)
Course Description:

A hands on session for all those responsible for administering an assessment on AssessmentUCL includes key tasks such as releasing an assessment, allocating markers, and releasing feedback to students.

On AssessmentUCL this role is called the Manager role.

Please note that the session on Thursday 3rd February is reserved for colleagues in the UCL Department of Security and Crime Science only.

IMPORTANT:

Please ensure you are using Desktop@UCL or the UCL VPN when booking because you need to be on the UCL network to use the system.

Once you have enrolled, you will need to click on the play button under 'My current enrolments' in My Learning to join at the time of the live session. You will also receive an email containing the direct Microsoft Teams joining link at least a day before the session.


Objectives:
  • Setup an assessment in-line with UCL academic regulations and any relevant department procedures.
  • Understand AssessmentUCL integration with Portico.
  • Upload an assignment paper or allocate a user to author a digital exam.
  • Release an assessment to students.
  • Support students and markers using AssessmentUCL.
  • Allocate markers and/or reviewers to specific candidates or if relevant sections of an exam.
  • Set up a rubric or marksheet.
  • View student progress.
  • Finalise and transfer marks to Portico (at a click of a button!).
  • Intended Audience:
    Exam Liaison Officers, Teaching Administrators, Course Administrators
