The diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer is undergoing a revolution, thanks to a magnetic nanoparticle technology developed by Professor Quentin Pankhurst. Replacing radioactive tracers, the technology can prevent unnecessary surgery, improve surgical outcomes, and increase patient access to the best standard of care. It’s both a research and commercial success story. Professor Pankhurst will share his fascinating journey from lab to market, creating his pioneering company Endomag and developing innovative products which have benefitted over 550,000 women around the world.
