2026 is the year in which we celebrate UCL’s Bicentenary, marking 200 years since UCL’s establishment as the first University in London.  Through the UCL200 programme of informative, engaging and varied activities, we are aiming to highlight UCL’s reputation for excellence, entrepreneurial spirit and ground-breaking impact.  We want to celebrate the tireless efforts of our staff and students in their desire to contribute to a world where knowledge, research and innovation serve as a force for positive good.  As well as reflecting on our past, we will use this opportunity to look to the future, imagining new and exciting possibilities as we enter our third century.   Among the many elements in the UCL200 programme there will be inspiring exhibitions, new publications, creative workshops, art installations, celebration ceremonies, artist in residence programmes, staff and student campaigns, and much more!

Join the Pro-Provost Bicentennial, Professor Dame Hazel Genn and Programme Director, Lucy Briggs to hear more about the plans for the UCL200 Programme and how you can engage as a staff member of UCL.
