UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES)

SSEES is unique in its multidisciplinary offerings, across our four areas of expertise: Economics and Business; History; Politics and Sociology and Languages and Culture.

Our undergraduate programmes are Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degrees and with the exception of History, Politics and Economics BA, offer a Year Abroad. Our flexible programmes combine core disciplines with a focus on the SSEES region (Russia, The Baltics, Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe). Whilst we are an area studies School, our graduates can be found globally, in a wide range of careers from banking and finance, policy making and security analysts, translation, media, law and further study.
